Karolis Lukosiunas signs a two-month contract with the London Lions

Karolis Lukosiunas inked a two-month deal with the London Lions, the team announced on Monday.

The 28-year-old Lithuanian guard will reunite with the new head coach of the British club, Tautvydas Sabonis, following their time together at Zalgiris. Playing for the Kaunas outfit from 2019 to 2023, he won multiple domestic titles, including three domestic league championships in 2020, 2021, and 2023. A veteran of 65 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games, he will debut in the BKT EuroCup as a temporary replacement for Ryan Mikesell, who is recovering from surgery. Beyond the club level, the native of Vilnius played for the senior national team of Lithuania during the FIBA World Cup 2023 Qualifiers, following a junior appearance in the FIBA U20 European Championship 2017.

Back on September 10, Turk Telekom announced 28-year-old Kyle Alexander is returning for the 2025-26 season. A former EuroLeague player in his 2022-23 journey with Valencia, following two NBA appearances with the Miami Heat earlier in his career, the Canadian center spent the last two years in the second tier of Euroleague Basketball, logging 37 games played, including 19 amounting to 9.4 points and 6.8 rebounds, alongside a league-high 2.2 blocks per contest for the Ankara outfit last season. Representing Canada, his international career is highlighted by a bronze medal in the FIBA World Cup 2023.

Last Tuesday, fellow EuroCup outfit Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem penned 18-year-old Yonatan Keller to a four-year contract.

The new season starts on September 30.
