Euroleague Basketball presented the midseason survey of BKT EuroCup general managers on Tuesday.
At the halfway mark of the 2025-26 installment of the league, the GMs made predictions on which teams would reach the Finals, confirmed a leading candidate for the Most Valuable Player award, confessed to which rival player they would like on their team, and more.
First off, the most surprising team is Cedevita Olimpija, according to 35%.
JL Bourg led with 30% as the most uncomfortable opponent. With 20%, Hapoel Midtown Jerusalem was second in the answers.
Tobias Jensen got 35% in questions about this season’s Rising Star.
The most fun-to-watch team generated a tie at 25% between U-BT Cluj-Napoca and Hapoel Jerusalem, with Bahcesehir Koleji at 20% and Besiktas GAIN at 15%.
Predicting which teams will reach the Finals, Hapoel Jerusalem went for 85%, and Besiktas followed at 75%.
Jared Harper was voted as the most spectacular player by 30%, with Daron Russell following with 20%.
A 55% for Arnas Velicka in the question about the best passer.
A 20% tally for Fletcher Magee on the best pure shooter list.
Moving to the best defender, Austin Wiley, was voted by 30%.
On which EuroCup player they would sign, Harper ranked first behind a 20% total, ahead of Malachi Flynn’s 15% and Chris Ledlum’s 10%.
Frederic Fauthoux, packing 30%, edged out Dusan Alimpijevic and his 25% in answers regarding the best head coach.
And the season MVP question showed a landslide victory for Harper in the form of 75%.
