Trento stops Beşiktaş, wins for Türk Telekom and Budućnost

Beşiktaş GAIN had won three straight games in the BKT EuroCup, but their streak came to an end on the road in Italy.

Dolomiti Energia Trento defeated Dušan Alimpijević’s side at the BTS Arena, winning 87-74.

D.J. Steward led Massimo Cancellieri’s team with 19 points and five rebounds, while Matas Jogėla added 17 points. Andrej Jakimovski recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds, and Devante Jones and Jordan Bayehe chipped in 11 points apiece.

For Beşiktaş, Connor Morgan stood out with 17 points, while Jonah Mathews and Brynton Lemar contributed 11 points each.

Elsewhere, Türk Telekom Ankara defeated Lietkabelis Panevėžys 85–75, with Doğuş Özdemiroğlu posting a double-double of 22 points and 11 assists.
Budućnost VOLI Podgorica also claimed a home win, beating NINERS Chemnitz 97–81 at Morača, led by Skylar Mays, who scored 22 points.

The results made the situation in Group B even tighter. JL Bourg, Türk Telekom, and Beşiktaş are all sitting at 11 wins, with Bourg still to play its Round 16 game, while Trento and Budućnost follow closely at 10–6.
