With the regular season of the BKT EuroCup nearing its end, every win is extremely important in determining the final standings. One of the most decisive matchups between two teams already qualified for the playoffs took place this afternoon, with Beşiktaş GAIN Istanbul claiming a 91–81 home win over Turk Telekom Ankara.
Devon Dotson led the hosts with 22 points, while Ante Žižić recorded a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Strong performances from Jaleen Smith (19 points) and Kyle Alexander (16 points) were not enough for the visitors.
Earlier in the day, Lietkabelis Panevėžys showed no mercy against Panionios Cosmorama Travel Athens, cruising to an 89–62 victory.
Assemian Moulare was the hero for Cosea JL Bourg-en-Bresse, as the French guard scored the game-winning three-pointer (86-85) against London Lions. Deane Williams had the chance to give the victory to the away team, but his triple at the buzzer did not go in.
Aris Thessaloniki Betsson got one of the biggest wins of the season after defeating Neptunas Klaipeda (83-64), a great outcome that keeps the post-season hopes of the Greek team alive.
And Umana Reyer Venice dominated BAXI Manresa 75-91. After a very close first 30 minutes, the Italian team controlled the fourth quarter (9-25) and got a very important win.
On the last game of the round on Thursday, Cedevita got the easy 88-74 win in Hamburg to remain third in the Group A standings.
Οn Tuesday, Śląsk Wrocław edged Bahcesehir, and Budućnost got the win against Ulm
