Besiktas played with fire; however, they got the 77-76 win over Dolomiti Energia Trento and set the stage for an all-Turkish semifinals series against Bahcesehir.

Jonah Mathews, with 23 points, was the top scorer for the winners, on a game ultimately decided on one missed free throw by the losing side.

DJ Steward had a EuroCup career night with 29 points, but it was not enough.

The game ended up a thriller as the score was tied at 73 with less than two minutes left, after the two teams were not able to score for two minutes.

DJ Stewart gave Trento a 75-73 lead, Conor Morgan tied it again at 75 with two free throws, and Stewart missed in the next possession.

With 25 seconds on the clock, Jonah Mathews went to the free-throw line, made one (76-75), and Trento had the ball. Stewart got the ball, passed it to Matas Jogela for a three-pointer, he missed, and Morgan got the rebound and also got fouled.

He made one of two free throws (77-75), and the Italians had one more chance with Jordan Bayehe getting fouled just 1.8 seconds before the final buzzer. The first free throw went in, the second was out, and the game was over.
