Kyle Allman Jr. secures EuroCup Quarterfinals MVP after massive clutch performance

Kyle Allman Jr. has been named Most Valuable Player in the Quarterfinals of the 2025-26 edition of BKT EuroCup.

Euroleague Basketball officially confirmed the 28-year-old Turk Telekom guard as the MVP of the Round on Thursday.

Per the press release: “Kyle Allman rose to the occasion in the BKT EuroCup Quarterfinals, delivering a composed and dynamic performance to guide Turk Telekom Ankara to a dramatic 90-91 come-from-behind win over Hapoel Midtown Jerusalem, capped by the game-winning three-pointer with 1.8 seconds remaining. His efficiency on both ends of the floor powered Turk Telekom into the semifinals and earned him EuroCup Quarterfinals MVP honors with a PIR of 31, the highest among all players in this stage.

Allman was sharp from the opening minutes and steady in the decisive moments, finishing with 25 points while orchestrating the offense with poise. He made 11 of 12 free throws and added 4 rebounds and 8 assists, showing equal parts scoring punch and playmaking presence, and his contributions helped Turk Telekom outlast Jerusalem in an instant classic. A complete effort in a high‑pressure setting secured Allman the top individual mark of the quarterfinals.

Dolomiti Energia Trento DJ Steward had the second-highest PIR in the quarterfinals with 30 in a 77-76 loss at Besiktas GAIN Istanbul. Steward scored a career-high 29 points and also compiled 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Thomas Kennedy of Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana was next with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 3 dimes for a PIR of 27 in an 83-79 loss at Cosea JL Bourg-en-Bresse.

Rounding out the top performers of the quarterfinals were Allman’s teammate Jaleen Smith, who posted a 26 PIR with 25 points and 6 assists and Jerusalem center Austin Wiley who had 16 points and 10 rebounds for a PIR of 22.

Individual highs: Trevion Williams, Bahcesehir, 16 rebounds

Jared Harper of Jerusalem and DJ Steward of Trento led all scorers in the quarterfinals with 29 points apiece.

Trevion Williams of Bahcesehir College Istanbul set the rebounding standard for the week with 16 boards.

Kyle Allman’s 8 assists were the most of any player in the quarterfinals.

Will McDowell-White and Fatts Russell each tallied 3 steals to top the quarterfinals.

Eight different players recorded 1 block in the quarterfinals, with no one surpassing that mark.

Four players posted double-doubles in the quarterfinals: Cluj’s Nighael Ceaser (12 points, 10 rebounds), Bahcesehir’s Malachi Flynn (16 points, 10 rebounds), Jerusalem’s Austin Wiley (16 points, 10 rebounds) and Bahcesehir’s Williams (11 points, 16 rebounds).”
