The BKT EuroCup Board has officially approved the final list of participating clubs for the 2026-27 season, confirming a 32-team field split between 21 clubs holding five-year licenses and 11 one-year participants.

The competition format was also finalized. The regular season will consist of four groups of eight teams, with the top 16 advancing to the postseason. The knockout stage will include the Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Finals, with every playoff series played in a best-of-three format.

Among the clubs awarded five-year licenses are Aris Thessaloniki Betsson, AS Monaco, Baglietto Derthona Tortona, Bahcesehir College Istanbul, Budućnost Voli Podgorica, Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana, JL Bourg-en-Bresse, Dolomiti Energia Trento, Hapoel Midtown Jerusalem, La Laguna Tenerife, Le Mans Sarthe Basket, Lietkabelis Panevezys, London Lions, Neptunas Klaipeda, Niners Chemnitz, PAOK Thessaloniki, Ratiopharm Ulm, Skyliners Frankfurt, Turk Telekom Ankara, U-BT Cluj-Napoca and Umana Reyer Venice.

The one-year participants are Balkan Botevgrad, Kids&Us Manresa, Maxima Roma, Napoli Basketball, Recoletas Salud San Pablo Burgos, Riga Zelli, Roma Basketball, Rostock Seawolves, Siauliai Basketball, Slask Wroclaw and Tofas Bursa.

One of the most eye-catching details of the lineup is Rome’s strong representation, as two clubs from the Italian capital – Maxima Roma and Roma Basketball – will compete in the EuroCup next season.

With AS Monaco returning to the EuroCup after five seasons in the EuroLeague and bringing with them their status as former EuroCup champions, alongside several ambitious clubs joining the field, the 2026-27 edition is set to feature one of the deepest and most competitive lineups in recent years.
