After a season without Turkish teams, Galatasaray and Darussafaka are expected to play in the EuroCup and Besiktas will have the same choice.
Despite the recent rant of president Fikret Orman against the competition, EuroLeague still values the Turkish club and believes that it deserves a spot in next season’s Eurocup which remains one of the main paths to the EuroLeague qualification.
However, it’s unclear if Besiktas will accept this invitation, or if the club will compete for one more season in the Basketball Champions League.
