Lokomotiv added 25-year-old forward Pavel Antipov as a reinforcement for the upcoming season. He averaged 5.2 points and 1.9 rebounds in 28 EuroLeague games during the 2016-17 season.
Antipov has played in multiple Russian clubs during his career, including Spartak St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Zenit St. Petersburg.
He was a member of the junior national teams of Russia, while with Russia’s university national team, he won the gold medal at the 2013 World University Games, and the bronze medal in the same competition in 2015.
