Partizan Belgrade wants to sign American center and former EuroLeague player Patric Young, according to Serbian website Mozzart Sport.

Young, 26, has emerged as one main option for Partizan that is looking bolster its roster with a frontline player. The club would want to sign the player during the upcoming November/December World Cup Qualifiers break so that head coach Andrea Trinchieri can work with him in practices before the EuroCup/ABA League games are resumed.

If Partizan strikes a deal with Young, then the player can return to action for the first time since June 2017. He then played in the Greek League Finals as a player of Olympiacos.

Young signed a contract with Milano in summer 2017, but persistent knee problems (Young had suffered a torn ACL in November 2015) kept him sidelined until the two sides parted ways last February.
