Marko Simonovic signed a two-year contract with Cedevita Olimpija, the 7DAYS EuroCup and ABA League side announced on Wednesday.
The 33-year-old Serbian is no stranger to neither of the two top competitions his new team will compete during the 2019-20 season. He already has nine EuroCup competitions under his belt including last season’s run with Zenit Saint-Petersburg, has plenty of ABA experience as well and a couple of championships to his name with Crvena Zvezda mts.
With 15 EuroCup appearances during the 2018-19 campaign he raised his grand total to 87 and will add on this upcoming season. As for his previous sting with Zenit, Simonovic averaged 6 points and 2.6 rebounds.
“Cedevita Olimpija is a big project with great ambitions, which match mine and this pleases me” he said commenting on the next chapter of his career.
