Matt Lojeski officially joins Tofas

Tofas inked Matt Lojeski to 1+1 contract, the Turkish team confirmed via press release on Monday. Eurohoops previously reported on the two-year deal.

The 34-year-old swingman spent his last six seasons in Greece, from 2013 to 2017 with Olympiacos and from 2017 to 2019 with Panathinaikos OPAP. He will carry his experience of 143 EuroLeague games to 7DAYS EuroCup for his new side.

Last season, Lojeski notched 6.5 points and 2.2 rebounds per contest in Europe’s premier competition, added 8.7 points, 2 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game in the Greek Basket League as well.

He is now set for his debut in the Turkish BSL and his second EuroCup campaign following his 2012-13 stint with Telenet Oostende.
