Brescia tabs Angelo Warner

Germani Basket Brescia added Angelo Warner, the Italian club announced on Monday. The newcomer will replace recently released Bronson Koenig in Vincenzo Esposito’s squad.

He moved his talents to Europe a couple of summers ago, since competed in Cyprus, Bosnia and Hungary. He has also played in the American Basketball Association and Mozambique during his professional career.

Warner, 27, spent his previous season with Sopron. The Morehead State alumni notched 19.4 points, 5.4 assists and 5.3 rebounds per appearance in the Hungarian league. His next stop will be in 7DAYS EuroCup and LBA Serie A.

Brescia’s EuroCup opener is scheduled for Wednesday and will be at home versus UNICS Kazan.
