Virtus Bologna extended its undefeated streak in EuroCup to 3-0 by downing Andorra 87 – 72 at home. The Spanish side fell to 1-2.
Julian Gamble scored 19 points on 9/9 2-pointers in 19:11 minutes to pace Bologna. Milos Teodosic contributed 15 points plus eight assists and Frank Gaines 11 points. Stefan Markovic had a diverse output of 10 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.
Clevin Hannah dropped 15 points and David Jelinek 10 for Andorra that crumbled down after a 17 – 28 entrance in the match. Bologna quickly bounced back to go the locker with a 43 – 38 lead and outplayed its opponents 21 – 11 in the third period to establish a firm grip on the lead.
