The Eurohoops Academy is constantly leading the way, focusing its actions on the development of the next generation of players! In this context, it introduces its new innovative training program:
The Dribbling Lab – the ideal training plan to improve ball handling for boys and girls aged 12 to 18 years. The Dribbling Lab | XMAS EDITION will take place from 27/12 to 30/12 (14:00 – 16:00) at state-of-the-art basketball court of Lycée Léonin of Athens.
The emphasis on specialization, the high intensity of training, and the targeted standard exercise program create a plan based on which aspiring young players can develop the technical skill of dribbling. The training program includes handling exercises, with the aim of giving the athlete the skill, but also the confidence, to put the ball on the floor with purpose and cope with high defensive pressure. At the same time, young players will be taught how the dribbling skill will help them attack, while they will understand when and how to use the different types of dribbling.
The Dribbling Lab training program includes:
- Advanced 2 ball skills and drills
- Advanced 1 ball drills
- Advanced different types of dribbling and changing
- Finishing off the dribble
- Footwork and motor skills
- The art of the pull-up shooting skill
- Pick n roll – the handler’s skills
- The 1on1 dribbling guide
The training program has the signature of the Technical Director of the Eurohoops Academy, Constantinos Meletis, a pioneer in the development of specialized training plans with almost 20 years of experience in basketball camps, while it will be implemented by the experienced training Eurohoops Academy staff.
All participants of The Dribbling Lab | XMAS EDITION will each receive a commemorative T-Shirt.
