Real Madrid extends Rudy Fernandez

Rudy Fernandez inked a two-year contract extension with Real Madrid, the Spanish team announced on Friday. The 34-year-old Spaniard was previously contracted up to the conclusion of the current season.

He joined the Whites back in 2011 during the NBA lockout. The following summer returned on a three-year contract. Afterwards re-signed until 2018 and a couple of years ago up to 2020.

During his team with Real competed in 217 EuroLeague games going all the way to the top in 2015 and 2018. This season has appeared in 18 tilts averaging 8.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2 assists per contest.

As for his current ACB run, the former Joventut Badalona player has 5.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.1 steals per game over 12 appearances.

From 2008 to 2012 took part in 268 NBA matches between the Portland Trail Blazers and the Denver Nuggets before making his way back to Spain.
