EuroLeague management to reportedly take a 25% salary cut during coronavirus pandemic

Whether and when the season can resume is still unclear, so EuroLeague has decided to make its first big financial decision concerning salaries of the organization management.

According to reports by nova.rs, EuroLeague’s management will receive a 25% salary cut by the end of the season, no matter when it ends. A similar move was recently made by the NBA, whose top officials took a 20% salary cut.

The pandemic is taking a big financial toll on the competition and it’s still unclear whether or not action can resume in order to complete the 2019-20 season.
