Baskonia is planning ahead for the following season and wants to keep Patricio Garino on board and the interest is also shared by the player’s side, as reported by noticiasdealava.eus.
The 26-year-old Argentinean shooting guard/small forward suffered an ACL tear in late November and has been inactive since, though the team wants to include him in their plans for the 2020-21 season. Prior to his injury, he posted an average of 10.3 points in ACB and 6.7 points in EuroLeague.
And while the interest is clear, the two sides will have to wait until the final agreement is signed, due to the current lockdown caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
