Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv announced the departure of Nate Wolters via press release on Sunday.

Per Maccabi: “Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv and Nate Wolters part ways. Maccabi wishes to thank Nate for his professionalism, efforts and commitment during his time in yellow & blue. Good luck on your next step.”

The veteran of 84 NBA games coming out of South Dakota State and 38th pick of the 2013 NBA draft was signed by the Israeli powerhouse last summer. His NBA stints featured the Milwaukee Bucks, New Orleans Pelicans, and Utah Jazz.

Wolters moved his talents to Turkey, Serbia, France, and Lithuania prior to joining Maccabi. His 2019-20 run included 15 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague appearances with 7.5 points, 2.7 assists, and 1.8 rebounds per contest to show for his efforts. He added 7.7 points per Winner League game.

Injuries halted his 2019-20 run before the coronavirus pandemic paused action. The EuroLeague campaign will not resume, but Israel’s league plans to get back on track on June 20.
