Gudaitis, Trushkin the latest EuroLeague players to test positive for COVID-19

Zenit St. Petersburg center Arturas Gudaitis and forward Vladislav Trushkin tested positive for coronavirus, the Russian team announced Saturday (10/10). They are the third and fourth Zenit players who is found to be carrying the virus after Austin Hollins and Anton Pushkov.

Zenit beat Barcelona Friday (9/10) at home with Gudaitis and Trushkin being left out of their team’s squad due to testing positive for COVID-19. The visiting side was without head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius and assistant coach Darius Maskoliunas who have both been tested positive for coronavirus.

So far there have been 15 EuroLeague who have tested positive for COVID-19 after the launch of the 2020-2021 season. The list of players is the following:

Nikola Milutinov, Semen Antonov, Janis Strelnieks

Khimki Moscow:

Greg Monroe, Maxim Barashkov, Janis Timma, Evgeny Voronov, Jordan Mickey

Zenit St. Petersburg:

Austin Hollins, Anton Pushkov, Arturas Gudaitis, Vladislav Trushkin
