The main agenda on Real Madrid management’s mind recently has been taking care of the extension with Pabo Laso whose contract is expiring in the summer, on June 30.

According to MARCA, both sides are willing to continue together and prolong the, so far, successful run and are in the final stages of negotiations with the signature being just a matter of time.

Laso has been coaching Real Madrid for the past decade and, under his leadership, the team has won a total of 20 titles (5 Spanish Leagues, 6 Spanish Cups, 6 Super Cups, 2 EuroLeagues, and 1 Intercontinental). The team reached 28 finals in the 38 official tournaments played.

At the moment, Real Madrid is among the playoff-bound teams in EuroLeague with a 15-10 record while they top the standings in the Spanish League with 20-1. Recently, they lost to Barcelona in the Spanish Cup Final.
