Real Madrid has been planning its roster for the next season with the addition of Vincent Poirier as well as done agreements with Pierria Henry and Thomas Heurtel.

The Whites are looking to further refresh their squad, especially in the frontcourt after Gabriel Deck left for the NBA and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

With that in mind, according to AS, Real Madrid is interested in adding Nikola Kalinic. The Serbian forward’s contract with Valencia Basket will allow him to leave freely in case the club doesn’t return to EuroLeague next season and with them failing to qualify for the playoffs, it could only happen through a wild card invitation.

The 29-year-old came to Valencia from Fenerbahce last summer and has played a season at a high level, averaging 10.4 points (33.3% from 3-pointers), 3.4 rebounds and 3.2 rebounds, also becoming MVP of the Euroleague of the month of February.
