After finishing the season with Lokomotiv Kuban, Nigel Williams-Goss emerged as one of the top free agents in Europe, and Real Madrid secured his services. The former Utah Jazz and Olympiacos player will make his return to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague as a member of the Spanish powerhouse.

The 26-years old guard joined Lokomotiv Kuban in January and he proved that he is much more ready and mature compared to his first season in EuroLeague with Olympiacos back in 2018. He played in six EuroCup games averaging 17 points, shooting 50% in threes, and dishing 5,2 assists per game.

He had even better numbers in the VTB United League, averaging 17.9 points and 6,7 assists.

In Madrid, he is expected to have a key role in the rotation with the team also having secured the signing of Thomas Heurtel once the veteran EuroLeague playmaker completes the season in the French Jeep Elite with LDLC ASVEL.
