Crvena Zvezda has parted ways with guard Corey Walden as he is headed to FC Bayern Munich on a two-year contract, sources tell Eurohoops.

Walden, 28, joined Zvezda for the 2020-21 season and averaged 10.5 points, 2.3 assists and 1.8 rebounds across 30 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague contests. During his time with the Serbian club, he was named ABA League and Serbian League champion.

Walden still had one more year on his contract with Zvezda and has also received interest from Zalgiris, though Bayern was finally able to lure him and the official announcement is expected soon.

His intention to move to Bayern was first reported by Mozzart Sport.
