Monaco brings in Alpha Diallo

AS Monaco has secured the services of Alpha Diallo for the 2021-22 season, the team announced Monday.

Diallo, 24, initially signed with Panathinaikos OPAP after an impressive rookie season at Lavrio Megabolt. However, separating with the Greens before his actually debuting led him to France and La Roca Team.

The former Providence standout posted 12.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.5 steals, and 0.4 blocks per match in Greece’s Basket League helping Lavrio make the Playoffs Finals for the first time in team history.

Donatas Motiejunas, Donta Hall, Leo Westermann, Yakuba Ouattara, Rudy Demahis, Paris Lee, Armel Traore, Jerry Boutsiele, and Danilo Andjusic were the previous additions to the squad coached by Zvezdan Mitrovic. Rob Gray, Ibrahima Fall-Faye, and Marcos Knight inked a contract extension.
