Crvena Zvezda, UNICS log friendly wins, Zenit beats Panathinaikos in double overtime

Crvena Zvezda mts recorded the victory, 74-50, against CSM Oradea, in a prep game held in Belgrade on Tuesday. Ognjen Kuzmic stood out as the top scorer in the third preseason victory with 14 points. Luka Mitrovic logged 11 points. Aaron White, Nate Wolters, and Ognjen Dobric were sidelined due to injury.

The team led by Dejan Radonjic will be carrying its undefeated preseason streak to Germany. It will be part of a four-team weekend tournament along with host FC Bayern Munich, Panathinaikos OPAP, and Virtus Segafredo Bologna. The next games will be held on September 11 and 12.

Heading to Russia, UNICS Kazan defeated Parma Perm, 78-68. Mario Hezonja produced 21 points and Lorenzo Brown added 12 points for the hosts also working towards the 2021-22 edition of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.

Double-overtime prep game in Athens, as Zenit Saint-Petersburg took down Panathinaikos, 92-85. The EuroLeague teams were tied, 68-68, at the end of the fourth quarter, and 79-79, after the first extra period. Apart from the loss at home, the Greens saw Daryl Macon Jr. exiting early due to a right ankle injury in the third period.

Back to Serbia, Partizan NIS despite trailing by 13 points at the break managed to come back and beat Radnicki, 79-65, in a humanitarian game held at Kragujevac. Aleksa Avramovic put up 16 points and Nemanja Dangubic had 15 points for the 7DAYS EuroCup side.

Another EuroCup team, Virtus Bologna also posted another preseason win, 92-83, opposite Carpegna Pesaro Ham at home. Amar Alibegovic fired 23 points. Ekpe Udoh and Mouhammadou Jaiteh added 15 points apiece.
