Cordinier draws EuroLeague interest

Isaïa Cordinier is aiming for the NBA, however staying in Europe is also a strong possibility. And for the first time in his career he is expected to play outside France, while a EuroLeague debut can’t be excluded.

There are ongoing talks between Virtus Bologna and the French guard, there’s no deal at the moment. The player is also drawing strong interest from EuroLeague teams and nothing is finalized right now.

Cordinier had a break out season in the EuroCup last year and a lot of teams took notice. The 24-year-old player was the 44th pick of the 2016 draft but currently he is a free agent, after the Nets renounced his rights.

It has to be noted that Virtus Bologna remains a valid option for Cordinier and a EuroCup contender with a EuroLeague-caliber roster, but at this point there still a lot of ground to be covered in the talks between the two sides.
