Real Madrid reportedly signing Sergio Rodriguez, targeting Pierria Henry

Reports surrounding Real Madrid’s roster have been circling for a while now and, despite reaching the Euroleague Final and just barely missing the title to Anadolu Efes, changes are expected this summer.

One of the names that will join the Spanish team, according to Mundo Deportivo, is Sergio Rodriguez who will return to the team where he played for six years (2010-2016), after six years apart.

However, that is not the only plan of Real Madrid for the backcourt. In fact, Rodriguez is expected to carry limited minutes and help out the main guard who is supposed to be Pierria Henry if all goes well.

At least, Real Madrid is hoping for such an outcome as they expect Fenerbahce to let Henry go while they also agreed with Baskonia which holds the player’s rights in Spain.

The Whites also plan to keep Nigel Williams-Goss for another year and that would basically complete their backcourt core going forward. Shane Larkin was also one of the possibilities but his price has gone way up after winning the second straight title with Efes.
