John Brown and Monaco agree on a deal

John Brown III and AS Monaco Basket reached a three-year agreement, according to Eurohoops sources. Moses Barda was the first to report the two sides being on the verge of a deal. The contract includes out clauses.

Monaco will surely look to remain competitive in the Euroleague landscape, especially so after reaching the playoffs in their debut season and forcing Game 5 against Olympiacos.

Brown has been on the radar of many teams after a breakthrough season with UNICS where he made a step forward in offensive presence while keeping the same steel defense and grind that he’s been known for.

He averaged 10.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.8 steals, and 1.3 assists with UNICS in Euroleague before the team was suspended form competing due to the war in Ukraine. He left the team and moved to Italy for Germani Brescia.
