Nate Wolters was on the radar of Panathinaikos following the team’s decision to move on from Nick Calathes, and the two sides have signed a deal, as Eurohoops sources confirm.

Wolters, 31, spent the previous season with Crvena Zvezda, helping the team lift the ABA League championship and the Radivoj Korac Cup this past February. He averaged  8.4 points, 3.5 assists, and 2.4 rebounds per ABA League contest, while he put up 10.9 points, 3.6 assists, and 2.6 rebounds per game over 31 appearances in his fourth EuroLeague campaign in 2021-22.

Crvena Zvezda allowed Wolters to depart from the team in order to travel to the United States in early June, shortly before wrapping up the season in the Serbian League.

Lithuanian journalist Donatas Urbonas first reported the signing of the player.
