Shavon Shields out for 6-8 weeks of action

The fears of coach Ettore Messina were right and EA7 Emporio Armani Milan will miss Shavon Shields for two months of action.

Per the press release: Olimpia Milano reports that, during the first quarter of the Munich game, Shavon Shields suffered a tendon injury to his left foot. Shields’ conditions will be re-evaluated in 6-to-8 weeks.

Shields started the season averaging 14.7 points and being the primary offensive option in the ambitious Italian club. Messina said after the close win of his team in Munich, that he was really worried about his player.

With a personal best of 34 points, registered in 2021 against Bayern Munich, Shields has emerged as one of the top EuroLeague scorers of recent years.
