Following the meeting of Italian clubs EA7 Emporio Armani Milan and Virtus Segafredo Bologna, Euroleague Basketball officially rescheduled yet another fixture of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season Round 7. As announced Monday, Fenerbahce Beko will play host to Crvena Zvezda on November 10, rather than the initial date of November 11.

Per the announcement: “The Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season game from Round 7 Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul – Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade has been moved from Friday 11 November 2022 to Thursday 10 November 2022 at 20:00 Local Time due to broadcasting needs.

The new date and time of the game will be shortly updated on our website: https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/game-center/?round=7&season=E2022”

It is worth noting that both sides carry international players eligible to represent their respective countries in FIBA’s upcoming international window and the next batch of 2023 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers fixtures, including Turkey welcoming Belgium in a key game of Group I to be held in Istanbul on November 11.

In late September, FIBA rescheduled the upcoming window slating all games to be played on Friday, November 11, and Monday, November 14, hoping to accommodate players and coaches attached to EuroLeague teams and for them to be available for their national teams.

Cazoo Baskonia visiting Panathinaikos in Athens and Valencia meeting AS Monaco are the two contests left on the Friday portion of Round 7, in direct conflict with the FIBA window. According to the updated schedule, six more games will be contested Thursday and one Wednesday.
