After missing three EuroLeague Rounds in a row, recovering against ASVEL and Baskonia, but missing the game against Maccabi Tel Aviv in Round 17, Gabriel Deck is forced once again to remain on the sideline for this double week.

Before the EuroLeague double week, Real Madrid head coach Chus Mateo talked about his conditions. “Gaby had some tests in the morning, and a major injury has been ruled out, but she still has a significant strain on the hamstring of his right leg, and we prefer not to rush with him on such an intense journey”, he said.

He won’t be the only absence for the Spanish team, as Carlos Alocen, Adam Hanga, Anthony Randolph, and Rudy Fernandez are also all injured.

Real Madrid will travel first to Belgrade to face Crvena Zvezda on Tuesday  (19:00 CET) and then to Berlin, in order to face ALBA on Thursday (20:00 CET).

After returning from the NBA at the end of the 2021-22 season, the Argentinian forward is averaging 13 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game in the European competition.

He’s shooting 59.1% from two, 37.5% from the perimeter, and 91.4% at the charity stripe.
