The latest guest on the podcast “A quarter with Kyle Hines”, Kevin Punter talked about how he steers clear of anybody touching the inside of his hands before tipoff.

Reaching the last segment, the four-time Turkish Airlines EuroLeague champion as the host of the show set up the traditional quick questions. But was really surprised to learn of a habit he did not notice in his former teammate at AX Armani Exchange Milan, currently named EA7 Emporio Armani Milan.

Hines, 36, inquired about pregame superstitions or rituals.

“After I’m done shooting around, or after I’m done with my pregame warm-up and things like that, you can’t touch the inside of my hand,” answered Punter, “Inside of my hand on both hands. You can’t touch that.”

Punter, 29, is up to 15.1 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.2 steals per game playing for Partizan Mozzart Bet in the 2022-23 edition of EuroLeague. Besides Milan, other former teams in Europe’s top-tier club continental competition are Crvena Zvezda mts and Olympiacos.
