According to Pilar Casado, Rudy Fernandez suffered a grade 2 adductor strain in his right leg in the EuroLeague game against Panathinaikos, won by Real Madrid on January 1 at home.

The Spanish veteran, who went out of the court with 2:16 left in the fourth quarter, spent 21:34 minutes on the court against the Greeks, scoring 5 points.

With an injury like this, he’s expected to stay out of the court for some weeks. In 2022-23 he has been averaging 2.8 points per game but in only 4 appearances.
