In the Round 24 game played against Olimpia Milano, which was postponed all the way to March 21 because of the earthquake in Turkey, Scottie Wilbekin suffered a left knee injury.

Therefore, the former Maccabi Tel Aviv playmaker won’t be available for Dimitris Itoudis and the yellow-and-blue team in the EuroLeague Round 30 against Zalgiris Kaunas, scheduled on March 24 at 18:45 CET.

“Traumatic bone contusion was detected in the detailed health controls of our athlete. The condition of Scottie Wilbekin, whose treatment has been started, will be re-evaluated in two weeks and information will be given about the date of his return”, the official statement by Fenerbahce says.

In his first season with Fenerbahce, Scottie Wilbekin has been averaging 11.1 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game, helping the Turkish side be at the 5th position in the standings with a 17-12 record.
