KAUNAS, Lithuania – Thanks to an amazing performance in the second half, Real Madrid managed to take down FC Barcelona for the second time in a row at the EuroLeague Final Four, earning the right to face Olympiacos to take the gold on Sunday. Anthony Randolph contributed to the 78-66 win with 6 points and 2 rebounds in 6:50 minutes on the court, speaking in the mixed zone afterward.

“We have a lot of veteran leadership on the team, everybody stepped up and helped out”, he said before dedicating some words to their EuroLeague Final opponents. “We respect them as much as we respect Barcelona, it will be a battle and we will go out there trying to do the little things to win the game”, the half Slovenian half American commented on Olympiacos.

Asked if this was the sweetest victory, he had no doubt. “It is for me. It feels good, it’s probably one of the best ones I’ve had in my career”, he added. “It feels amazing. It’s been a rough two years for me, and my first goal was just to be included on the team. To be here and have an impact on the games is amazing, it shows that you have to keep working no matter what happens, through adversities”, Anthony Randolph also said.
