Miquel Salvo renews two seasons with Gran Canaria

The Gran Canaria Basketball Club and Miquel Salvo have reached an agreement for the next two seasons with the option of an additional one.

After training in the FC Barcelona youth academy and playing in all categories of national basketball, Salvo landed in Gran Canaria two seasons ago from San Pablo Burgos, where he won two consecutive Basketball Champions Leagues and an Intercontinental Cup.

The 28-year-old forward has been a fundamental part of the team since his arrival on the island thanks to his versatility, where he can alternate various positions and his contribution to different facets of the game. Also due to his leadership and character, he is already one of the bastions of the yellow locker room.

This past season he played 37 Endesa League games with Gran Canaria averaging 7.1 points and 3.1 rebounds. While at the 7DAYS EuroCup, he helped to the Club’s first European title averaging 6.3 points and 2.9 rebounds.
