Serge Ibaka reportedly signed with Bayern Munich

Serge Ibaka has reportedly signed with Bayern Munich for next season, according to Spanish journalist Marc Mundet.

The 33-year-old Ibaka last played for the Milwaukee Bucks and after a solid and long career in the NBA, he returns in Europe according to the report.

The Spanish-Congolese big man was drafted by the Seattle SuperSonics with the 24th overall pick in the 2008 NBA draft.

Ibaka is a three-time NBA All-Defensive First-Team selection and has twice led the ΝΒΑ in blocks. In 2019, he won the NBA championship as a vital member of the Toronto Raptors.

Before moving to the NBA, he played for Manresa in the Spanish Liga Endesa. In the NBA he played also for the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Orlando Magic, and the LA Clippers.

As a member of the Spanish national team, he won the gold Eurobasket medal in 2011 with the Spanish national team and silver in the 2012 Olympics.
