Hit with multiple injuries, Anadolu Efes continues to strengthen its roster, and loans Turkish point guard Ridvan Oncel from Darussafaka until season’s end.

Oncel, who signed with Darussafaka last summer, has joined Anadolu Efes on loan due to the team’s numerous injuries. In 11 BSL games, he averaged nine points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.7 assists, also participating in five matches in the Basketball Champions League with averages of 5.4 points, 3.4 assists, and 1.4 rebounds.

The 26-year-old Turkish player, previously associated with Turk Telekom, Galatasaray, Bandirma, TEKSUT Bandirma BK, and Bahcesehir, was part of the team that won the Turkish League Regular Season in 2023.

Ridvan Oncel is the third signing for Anadolu Efes in the past couple of weeks, following the acquisitions of Mike Daum from Tortona and Daniel Oturu from Merkezefendi.

The list of injured players in Erdem Can’s team has grown considerably, with Elijah Bryant, Tibor Pleiss, Erkan Yilmaz, Will Clyburn, Rodrigue Beaubois, Derek Willis, and Ante Zizic currently sidelined.
