In Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Round 33, two teams that share colors and good relations between their fans are meeting in a red and white encounter in the Serbian capital, Belgrade – Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet will host Olympiacos Piraeus (04/04).

Unfortunately, a couple of players will be missing from both sides. As Crvena Zvezda’s head coach confirmed, Trey Thompkins is not going to debut against the Greek side, while Georgios Bartzokas stated that he won’t have two Serbian players at his disposal: Nikola Milutinov and Filip Petrusev.

Thompkins arrived in Belgrade at the beginning of February but is still waiting for his debut for the Serbian champions.

Trey won’t play tomorrow, but he’s in the final stages of recovery. He’ll need a few more days, maximum another week, to be ready for the game,” Sfairopoulos said before the clash against his former team, while he’ll finally have Milos Teodosic and Yago dos Santos in the team together.

On the other side, Milutinov returned to training after 71 days, but Bartzokas won’t take any chances, while Petrusev is still suffering from a bone swelling and could return next weekend against Peristeri (07/04).

Petrusev is out; we will try to get him in against Peristeri. Milutinov is out; he did two team training sessions but he’s been out for two months, so I can’t count him out,” Bartzokas stated.

Crvena Zvezda is out of contention for the Play-In, while Olympiacos is still fighting for home-court advantage in the EuroLeague Playoffs.
