Olimpia Milano coach and four-time EuroLeague champion Ettore Messina broke down some of his trademark plays and explained why he tries to pay extra attention to his players every single day.
“Every day I discover something. I wasn’t a player. I started [coaching] very early when I was 17,” said for EuroLeague Basketball. “Because they offered me to become a coach. So I never experienced what many colleagues of mine who have played on a high level have experienced. The feeling in the locker room before a big game.”
“That’s something I try to learn every day from my players,” Messina continued. “To see how they behave, how they react, how they think.”
