Fenerbahce Beko coach Sarunas Jasikevicius liked the attitude his players showed in the win over Paris Basketball that was also reflected on the 30 offensive rebounds the team collected to tie the all-time EuroLeague record.

“I thought our fighting spirit was great,” Saras said. “In some situations we didn’t follow the game plan. We didn’t folow our defensive rules. Perhaps that was the difference between the two halves. “The guys played hard. In the second half we played more aggressive than Paris and we hit shots. In the first half, I thought Paris was more physical. We were making some mental mistakes. The second half was much better.”

Paris led 32 – 18 13 minutes into the game and was up 45 – 37 at halftime. Fener made a 0-14 run in the third period to turn the game completely around but still needed some key clutch plays to get the win.

Now, the entire team has earned a much deserved rest and a chance to enjoy the French capital.

“Tomorrow is going to be a nice walk around Paris,” said Saras.
