Crvena Zvezda lost to Bayern Munich in Round 28 of the EuroLeague and traveled straight to Ljubljana, where they will play Cedevita Olimpija in Round 22 of the ABA League.
As the club announced, many players were absent from Saturday’s practice due to injuries and illness, with only eight players available to Ioannis Sfairopoulos during the training.
Mike Daum is still recovering from a knee injury and didn’t travel with the team, while Milos Teodosic is suspended for the next two games in the ABA League.
Meridian Sport reported that Filip Petrusev has not yet recovered from the illness that prevented him from playing full minutes against Bayern Munich last Thursday, while Nikola Kalinić is also suffering from a fever.
Yago dos Santos got injured during the clash in Munich, while Codi Miller-McIntyre reportedly has issues with his back.
With six rounds to go in the EuroLeague Regular Season, Crvena Zvezda is 6th in the standings with a 16-12 record, while it boasts a 17-4 record in the ABA League and is two wins behind Partizan and Budućnost at the top of the standings.
