EuroLeague superstar Kendrick Nunn has agreed to a multiyear contract extension with Panathinaikos Athens until 2028 according to SDNA.

Per the report, Nunn will earn 4.5 million per year, a sum that will make him the highest-paid player in the EuroLeague. The contract won’t include any NBA out clauses so Panathinaikos secures that the American guard will stay with the team at least for three more seasons.

Nunn was in talks with Panathinaikos over the last couple of weeks about extending his contract that expires in 2026. For the Greens, the most important part in reaching an agreement was the exclusion of the NBA out clause that the player has in his current deal with the club.

So far in 2024-25, Nunn is averaging 20.3 points, 4.1 assists and 3.6 rebounds in the EuroLeague, being one of the favorites to win MVP.

Panathinaikos signed Nunn from the NBA in October 2024 and the player proceeded to establish himself as one of the best – if not the best – in the EuroLeague. He made the All-First Team and posted 17.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists in the Final Four to push the team toward winning the championship title.
