Olympiacos, Fenerbahce, Panathinaikos, and AS Monaco secured in that order the four top spots in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season after Thursday’s games.

While PAO hasn’t played yet this week and will host another post-season side like Crvena Zvezda tomorrow night, Olympiacos, Fenerbahce, and Monaco all got wins and that was the key for the final standings.

No matter the result of Panathinaikos’s last home game against Crvena Zvezda, nothing will change.

The Turkish and the Monegasque sides did it on the road, respectively beating Bayern Munich and ASVEL to secure the 2nd (23-11) and 4th position (21-13) in the standings.

Olympiacos, instead, extended their winning record to 24-10, standing at the top of the EuroLeague standings.

The reigning champions will finish in 3rd position: with a victory, they would be 22-12, while with a loss, they would finish at 21-13. However, the record is irrelevant since Panathinaikos has the tie-breaker over AS Monaco.

The 5th spot currently belongs to Real Madrid, which has a 20-14 record; However, Barcelona (19-14) and Efes (19-14) can push Madrid to the Play-Ins and the 7th spot if they get the home wins over Virtus Bologna and Zalgiris Kaunas, respectively. Both the Italians and the Lithuanians are out of the postseason.

If both Barcelona and Efes prevail, then they will finish in the 5th and the 6th spot, respectively.

Paris Basketball (19-15), Bayern Munich (19-15) and Crvena Zvezda (18-15), which faces Panathinaikos on the last round, are the last three teams of the Play-Ins.
