EuroLeague draws 459 million TV viewers

EuroLeague’s growing popularity is reflected not only in packed arenas across the continent but also in the staggering global audience it continues to attract.

According to the latest report by the globally renowned agency Nielsen, the EuroLeague recorded a total of 459 million TV viewers worldwide from October 2024 to early 2025, with as much as 98% of that audience coming from the local markets of the clubs, as reported by Meridian Sport.

The highest numbers came from the Balkans (120.8 million), followed by Spain (112.4 million), Greece (96.8 million), Italy (35.2 million), Turkey (29.4 million), Germany (23.5 million), France (22.8 million), the Baltics (9.8 million), and Israel (1.5 million).

In terms of digital performance, the EuroLeague generated 2.8 billion online impressions on the most visited media websites, while content on social media platforms attracted 917 million views.
