It’s not a surprise anymore: TJ Shorts was named MVP of the Round in the EuroLeague once again, this time for the Play-In Tournament, where he dragged Paris Basketball to the Playoffs against Fenerbahce.

He recorded the highest PIR among all winners in the Play-Ins, finishing with a 27 PIR in the decisive matchup against Real Madrid, where Tiago Splitter’s team was successful.

TJ Shorts went close to another important double-double with 23 points and 9 assists in Paris’ 81-73 road victory against last year’s runner-up. He also shot 7/12 from two and 6/7 at the line, drawing 9 fouls.

This was Paris Basketball’s playmaker’s 5th MVP of the Round Award this season, tying Sasha Vezenkov for the most of such awards.

TJ Shorts will now await the best-of-five series against the 2nd seed, Fenerbahce, in the EuroLeague Playoffs.

Before joining Paris in the summer of 2023, winning the BKT EuroCup as Regular Season and Finals MVP in his first season, he was already shining with Telekom Baskets Bonn in the BCL.
