Paris coach Tiago Splitter fined by EuroLeague

Paris Basketball coach Tiago Splitter was fined with 8,000 by EuroLeague Basketball, the organization announced.

In Game 2 of the playoffs against Fenerbahce Beko, Splitter protested for a foul on Paris guard Yakuba Outtara while standing inside the four lines of the floor during live play. He collided with Fener guard Errick McCollum and received a technical foul.

Per EuroLeague Basketball:

  • Mr. Tiago Splitter, head coach of Paris Basketball, has been sanctioned with a fine of € 8,000 for the undertaking of actions that cause the abnormal interruption of a game on occasion of its away game against Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul under 27.2.a) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
