Jabari Parker and Partizan Belgrade are close to a deal, as first reported by SDNA and confirmed by Eurohoops sources.
Many teams expressed interest in his services, and Parker enjoyed his time in Barcelona, but for financial reasons, he is leaving Palau Blaugrana.
Last season, Parker averaged 13.8 points and 4.0 rebounds in 39 EuroLeague appearances, proving himself at the highest European level.
As such, he would be a major signing for Željko Obradović’s team, which recently won the ABA League and reached the Serbian Superleague finals, but failed to qualify for the EuroLeague Play-Ins.
The deal is not done yet, but the two sides are close to finalizing it, which would allow Parker to continue his European adventure in Belgrade and become part of one of the fiercest rivalries in Europe — between Partizan and Crvena Zvezda.
